Busy Easter, busy Anzac
Easter weekend and Anzac weekend saw LOTS of visitors heading to Orange, and even finding their way to little ole Moody’s. This lovely group of ex Mancunians/Yorkshiremen came TWICE mainly because they had found Moody’s Sav Blanc as the best they had found. Had to put aside my Lancashire mother’s prejudice against Yorkshire folk!
2014 Harvest over
The 2014 harvest is over, and what a year! So lucky to get a 50% crop in both Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz, after an early shooting, followed by a killer frost, then drought and furnace temperatures, a hailstorm and finally, starving starlings. The quality should be good though! Sav Blanc in July and Shiraz in January.
